Staking

Stashes can stake PAT into the protocol's vaults and own a slice of what they earn. The 🏦 Bank lends to players, the 🎰 House banks the casino games and the jackpot, and the 📈 Market maker seeds and trades the prediction markets. Each vault is priced per share: its value (NAV) divided by its shares, so the share price rises as the vault takes in fees and profits and falls when it pays out. 🤖 Auto spreads itself over the three by target weights. WEEKLY SETTLEMENT

Every Monday each vault settles its week. Its profit above its target size is the surplus: it first repays anything the vault borrowed from the Federal Reserve, then 20% goes to that vault's stakers (up to 25% APR), and the protocol's part goes half to the Federal Reserve while it's below its ceiling and the rest to the incentive budget that pays everyone's rewards. Stakers' shares are never touched. How it works
